This is a story that I am working on, I love Disney movies and this is my own princess story about a girl called Amelia Grace.

 

General Plot

Two neighbouring kingdoms have been at war for three generations, the Amden house and the Belcrast house. A prince and a princess are born to each kingdom, their parents decide that their marriage will end the war. The princess is given a special charm by her mother that will protect her with the power of love. However the princess is kidnapped and taken miles away from her home to the distant mountains. Assuming that the Belcrast house took the child the Amden house continues the war. 25 years later Queen Amden sends her most loyal guard Rylian to search for the princess, a man called Malum also offers to search for the princess. Rylian travels for miles until he reaches the eastern mountains, he finds the princess living with a family of goat herders, under the name Amelia Grace, he tells her who she really is and that she is the only one who can end the war, after thinking for a while she agrees to go back home. On the journey back to the kingdoms Rylian and Amelia bump into Malum who offers to help them home.

 

They reach a cave once inhabited by a fearsome creature, Malum assures them that the creature died years ago but when they enter the cave it attacks, Rylian manages to fight the creature off and they escape in the nick of time. After two days journey they reach the edge of an enormous lake, they rent a boat from the local fishing village and set sail. During the stormy voyage they are attacked by a colossal fish, Rylian harpoons the fish and it pulls them to the other side of the lake, after travelling through the great forest they reach the edge of the two kingdoms. Amelia is woken suddenly in the knight when Malum attempts to kill her, she and Rylian discover that he was the one who took Amelia as a baby, to make sure the kingdoms were never joined, he is really an ancient sorcerer who revelled in watching the warring parties.

 

Malum transforms himself into a great black dragon, the creature from the cave, and attacks the Amden city. Rylian rallies his men but they are swept aside by the dragon's flames. Amelia's will to protect her home is so great that the charm she was given begins to glow and cover her in light, she charges at the dragon plunging a sword straight through his heart. The love shared between her and her family was stronger than the dark magic, now that the sorcerer is dead, the kingdoms discover that they no longer wish to fight, prince Belcrast decides that Amelia no longer has to marry him to join their two kingdoms, and that their friendship is now stronger than ever. Amelia is reunited with her parents, Rylian asks for her hand in marriage, she accepts and they ascend to the Amden throne.
